At the start of the 1990's after years of arguments within the company two thirds of the companies staff were axed. The company were in real trouble and even sold of the company name.
Finally Geoff and his new partner Jeannette moved into a new office in 1991, And they also went about making a new artist management. Rough Trade knew that they could be sucessfull from past experiences they just needed to reluctantly use some of the big corporations techniques but they still uphold looking after their artist and not putting pressure on them.
